Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of MeepsTV. By using the site, you agree to them.

MeepsTV is operated from Washington, United States. Questions about these Terms can be sent to meow@meeps.tv. How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy . These Terms are site rules, not legal advice.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using MeepsTV (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service includes public pages (such as backlog and profiles), Twitch-authenticated tools, optional Google YouTube and Calendar connections, uploads, overlays, and Veeps features. Some features are available only to users with appropriate roles or permissions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a MeepsTV account or authenticated features. If you are under 13, do not sign in or provide personal information through account features. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian is responsible for your use.

3. Accounts and authentication

MeepsTV uses Twitch OAuth for sign-in. You are responsible for the Twitch account you use to access the Service and for activity that occurs through your MeepsTV session. Keep your Twitch credentials secure and notify meow@meeps.tv if you believe unauthorized access has occurred.

Permissions and roles (for example viewer, editor, or admin) are enforced by the server. Client UI may mirror permissions for convenience, but the server is the source of truth. Connecting Google for YouTube or Calendar is optional and subject to Google’s terms and policies as well as these Terms.

4. Your content and license

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as profile text and links, notes, uploads, and other materials you provide (“User Content”), subject to rights held by third parties (for example Twitch, YouTube, or game publishers).

By submitting User Content, you grant MeepsTV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use that User Content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to make public the content you choose to publish. This license ends when your User Content is removed from the Service, except for reasonable residual copies in backups or caches that are deleted in the ordinary course.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
Attempt to access accounts, data, or features without authorization.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including abuse of APIs or infrastructure.
Upload malware or attempt to compromise security.
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
Use the Service to harass, threaten, or exploit others.
Scrape or harvest data in a way that burdens the Service or violates third-party terms.
Circumvent role, age, or access restrictions.

Adult-oriented links or content may appear where users explicitly mark or acknowledge them. Do not use those features to distribute illegal content or content involving minors.

6. Moderation, suspension, and termination

MeepsTV may remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Service or users, comply with law, or address abuse. You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion requests can be sent to meow@meeps.tv.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with or links to third parties such as Twitch, Google/YouTube/Calendar, IGDB, hosting and storage providers, Streamer.bot, pronoun and avatar lookup services, and embedded media platforms. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. MeepsTV is not responsible for third-party services it does not control.

8. Veeps, REP, and cosmetics

Veeps may include virtual currency (REP), cosmetics, gifts, and related display features for stream overlays and the store/closet experience. REP and cosmetics are virtual items with no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and may be modified, reset, or discontinued at any time. Purchases and gifts are subject to the rules and availability of the Service at the time of the transaction. Unless required by law, virtual items are non-refundable.

9. Changes to the Service

MeepsTV is a personal/channel project and may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice. There is no guarantee of unbroken availability, specific feature longevity, or particular uptime.

10. MeepsTV intellectual property

The Service’s branding, design, software, and original non-user content are owned by MeepsTV or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service. Third-party trademarks and game or media assets remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEEPSTV DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MEEPSTV DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEEPSTV AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. MEEPSTV’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MEEPSTV FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES THE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MeepsTV and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

MeepsTV may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
